Get Your Tribute Tee Before December 25
We have just launched a t-shirt fundraiser to underwrite the expenses of this web site, developed by our grassroots based, volunteer-led Black Wellness Collaborative (B-Well), in addition to our upcoming online workshop expenses,. These projects are intended to promote public education and awareness around the importance of Black Mental Health. This type of work is critical, especially today, during a pandemic and time of tensions around national uprisings in response to killings of Black people around the US. Our shirt was designed to celebrate Long Beach's Health Officer, Dr. A. Davis, and other health professionals like her--Black women leading the way on the frontlines, during the pandemic, and over our long history of generations of struggle.
Be sure to order your shirt before the fundraiser closes on December 24: customink.com/fundraising/mycityshealthofficerlookslikeme
All proceeds will be donated to our B-Well Collaborative (we estimate we will receive about $7/shirt sold). If you prefer to make a direct donation instead of purchasing a shirt, please visit www.gofundme.com/f/allthingsblackhealth. At least 10 shirts must be sold on customink.com in order for shirts to be printed. THANK YOU so much for considering how you can help support this project.
